It all began with a healthy dose of wonder.
Since 2014, Jimmy James and I have been flying drones to take aerial photos and videos. First as enthusiast because years ago a “drone” with it’s capabilities was intriguing and of course this turned us into hobbyists. Over time we’ve done a variety of projects – Event pics/videos, helped out homeowners with aerial pics, assisting filmmakers get bird’s eye shots for their scenes, scouted hunting land and even saved a beloved Siamese Cat from a Sycamore Tree (we didn’t do this one, but would’ve been cool if we did 😊).
What happened next? Well, nothing more than life. Our jobs got more demanding, family obligations, more extracurricular activities, housebreaking pet rocks, etc. So our six propeller bird started to collect dust…and a little more dust. Fast forward to the time COVID caused our industry to take a nose dive. The event industry to be exact, where we specialize in large gatherings indoors typically conventions and expos. Yep, like many others, a life changing experience unfolded. So with events cancelled and lots of time on our hands, we knocked off the dust of our ole flying friend and got it back in the air. We’ve also invested in a new drone and now certified with the FAA…No more “flying dirty” and all the while homing our skills in maneuvers, imagery and post production.
